Essential Information for a SWIFT Transfer:

  • Recipient’s Full Name: This can be an individual or a business entity listed on the account.

  • Recipient’s Account Number (IBAN): This international bank account number is used to simplify the processing of payments in international transfers. It includes the country code, bank, and recipient’s account number.

  • Recipient’s Bank and SWIFT Code: The SWIFT code (or BIC code) is a unique identifier for the bank. It is used to precisely identify the financial institution receiving the transfer.

  • Transfer Amount and Currency: Indicate the exact amount you wish to transfer and the currency in which the transfer should be made.

  • Purpose of Payment: A brief description of the payment’s purpose. This helps the bank and recipient to identify and understand the transaction.

If it’s easier, you can send the recipient's details in a screenshot. This helps avoid data entry errors and speeds up the transfer process.
